Welcome to LANTTALAUREE where we offer you a Dinner Service in the great outdoors of nature, close to the National Park Pohjankangas-Kauhaneva in Karvia.
A group of women called the "daughters-in-law" of the village Ämmälä (which also means a village of women) offer you a dinner service in the wilderness. Right in the middle of the dry moor terrain, in the forest, there is a hut (like the Lapplanders) with room for ca 20 persons to sit around the fire. A nearby barn provides shelter during summer, when the weather is warm enough to sit outside.
An old historical road, "Vanha kangasmaantie", takes you to the marsh of Kauhaneva. You can also go by bus. On request we can provide service in Swedish, German, English, Estonian and Russian.
During summer we can cater for bigger groups, too.
We cook the food on the open fire, using mostly produce grown in our own
village. Supreme quality and taste are guaranteed, and you can eat as much as you like. Only the pancakes are paid for by the piece.
